Accountant (Cashier)

About the Role: We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to manage daily payment transactions with efficiency and accuracy. This role involves handling cash, card payments, and issuing receipts and cheques in a fast-paced environment. As a key front-line team member, you'll ensure a smooth payment experience while maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: • Process payments via cash, cheques, cards, and vouchers through POS • Issue receipts, refunds, and credit notes to customers • Balance cash drawers and prepare daily transaction reports • Maintain accurate records in line with bank procedures • Support internal departments with payment settlements • Collect cash/cheques from relevant departments and personnel • Handle petty cash reimbursements and customer cheque issuance • Reconcile end-of-day balances and report discrepancies Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field • 2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar cashiering or finance support role • Strong math and computing skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other financial software is an advantage
