Assistant - Accounts Payable & General Ledger

Responsibilities • Check and enter supplier invoices, expense claims and supporting documents into the hospital’s accounting system. • Assist with supplier reconciliations, payment preparation and follow-up on missing approvals or documentation. • Support journal entries, accrual schedules, account reconciliations and month-end closing activities. • Maintain organized financial records and coordinate with hospital departments to resolve routine accounting queries. Qualifications and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. • Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, with relevant experience in the hospital or healthcare sector. • ACCA studies, an accounting technician qualification or equivalent certification preferred. • Good knowledge of bookkeeping, invoice processing, Excel and accounting software, with strong attention to detail.
