Role Description This full-time, on-site Excavator Operator role is based in Riyadh and involves operating heavy excavating equipment to support construction and infrastructure projects. The Excavator Operator will perform digging, trenching, grading, and loading tasks according to project plans and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment before and after use, monitoring surroundings to prevent hazards, and coordinating with site supervisors and other crew members. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of work performed, following all company and regulatory safety procedures, and assisting with basic equipment care when required. The Excavator Operator is expected to work in various outdoor conditions and adapt to changing project needs. Qualifications • Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, with strong equipment operation skills. • Proficiency in excavation and trench work, including digging, grading, and loading according to site plans. • Experience with heavy equipment care and basic equipment maintenance procedures. • Knowledge of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow all safety regulations. • Previous experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar heavy equipment role in construction or infrastructure projects. • Ability to read and follow instructions, site layouts, and supervisor directions; basic numeracy for measurements and levels. • Physical ability to work outdoors for extended periods, including in varying weather and site conditions. • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with supervisors and crew members. • Local or valid work authorization in Saudi Arabia; relevant operator certifications or licenses are an advantage.
