Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant - German Region I’m currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a growing, international business and take ownership of financial reporting, controls and compliance across the German region. This would suit a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong German and English language skills who has worked within a multinational or multi-country finance environment. Key responsibilities will include: • Month-end close and financial reporting • Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews • Statutory and Group accounting compliance • Supporting external audits • Working closely with Shared Service Centres and local finance teams • Maintaining strong internal financial controls • Driving improvements across reporting, processes and controls Ideally, you’ll have: • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, qualified or studying towards • Strong German & English language skills • Regional or multi-country accounting experience • Strong Excel skills • Audit and internal controls experience • ERP / finance transformation experience would be advantageous Why this role: A great opportunity for someone looking for a role combining hands-on accounting, international exposure and finance process improvement.
