Role Description This full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role is based in the Doha Metropolitan Area. The technician will install, inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, package units, split units, and related components. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, checking system performance, identifying faults, and completing corrective actions to maintain optimal operation and energy efficiency. The role involves reading technical diagrams, handling refrigerants in line with safety and regulatory guidelines, and coordinating with supervisors and clients to plan and document work. The technician will also assist with related mechanical and basic plumbing tasks, ensure adherence to safety procedures, and maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently. • Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, and routine servicing of equipment. • Candidates should possess Electricity-related skills, including basic electrical wiring, reading electrical diagrams, and safely working with circuits. • Candidates should possess Plumbing skills relevant to HVAC systems, such as condensate drainage, piping connections, and leak detection. • Candidates should possess EPA or equivalent refrigerant handling and safety knowledge, following regulatory and environmental standards. • Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical fields is preferred. • Previous experience as an HVAC or Heating Air Conditioning Technician in commercial or residential settings is beneficial. • Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools safely, and to follow company and site safety procedures. • Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervisors, and clients, and to complete service documentation. • Willingness to work on-site, respond to urgent calls, and adapt to varying work environments and schedules.
