Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Bus Driver role based in Dubai. The Heavy Bus Driver is responsible for operating heavy passenger buses on designated routes, ensuring safe transport of passengers while following traffic laws and company policies. Daily tasks include conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus, and completing logbooks or digital records as required. The driver will manage passenger boarding and disembarkation, provide courteous assistance and information, and respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations or delays. The role also involves coordinating with dispatch and supervisors, reporting any mechanical issues, and consistently promoting a safe and professional environment. Qualifications • Proficiency in heavy vehicle and bus operation, including experience with Truck Driving and Bus driving. • Strong Defensive Driving skills and a demonstrated commitment to road safety and accident prevention. • Experience with Driver Training or willingness to participate in ongoing training and refreshers. • Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and clearly with diverse passengers. • Valid heavy vehicle driving license recognized in Dubai and a clean driving record. • Knowledge of local traffic rules and regulations, and familiarity with Dubai routes is an advantage. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and remain attentive over long driving periods. • Basic English communication skills; additional language abilities are a plus. • Prior experience as a heavy bus or commercial driver in a passenger transport environment is preferred.
