Lifeguard

Monitor swimming pools and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of guests and team members, maintaining constant vigilance and responding quickly and appropriately to emergencies. Day-to-day responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, preventing unsafe behaviors, and providing clear guidance on safe use of facilities. The role involves conducting regular inspections of safety equipment, maintaining cleanliness and order in pool areas, and reporting hazards or incidents in line with company HSE standards. The Lifeguard will also participate in safety drills and training sessions, communicate professionally with guests, and collaborate with the broader hospitality team to provide a welcoming and secure environment. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong water safety and swimming skills, including the ability to perform rescues and support individuals in distress. • Candidates should possess life-saving and first aid skills, such as CPR certification, basic emergency care, and knowledge of standard rescue procedures. • Candidates should possess observation and risk awareness skills, including the ability to identify hazards, enforce safety rules, and follow HSE protocols. • Candidates should possess communication and customer service skills, including clear verbal communication, calm interaction in emergencies, and a professional, service-oriented attitude. • Candidates should possess teamwork and reliability skills, including punctuality, collaboration with colleagues, and adherence to company policies and standards. • Relevant lifeguard certification from a recognized body and prior experience in pool or beach lifeguarding are highly beneficial. • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, and maintain physical fitness suitable for performing rescues is required.
