Manufacturing & Industrialization Expert – Global Strategic Projects (m/w/d) fixed-term, 3 years

Type de contrat: 36 months | Fixed-term contract | Full-time What You Can Expect • Responsibility for the industrialisation strategy of the new coffee machine, including resource planning and translation of product requirements into production and test requirements • Design and implementation of the assembly line (process sequence, layout, cycle times, staffing) in compliance with safety, ergonomics, and environmental standards • Definition and alignment of the test strategy (in-process, end-of-line, and reliability tests) with internal stakeholders and customers • Ensuring product and process robustness through DFM/DFA, participation in FMEAs, and definition of critical process parameters and control plans • Leadership of the industrialisation phase and production ramp-up, including trials/pilot series, KPI management, and close coordination with plants, suppliers, and customers What You Need To Succeed With Us • Completed engineering degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial/manufacturing engineering, mechatronics) • Several years of experience in manufacturing engineering/industrialisation/industrial project management, ideally in an assembly-to-order environment • Practical experience in setting up new assembly lines and test equipment for complex electromechanical products, as well as solid knowledge of the relevant manufacturing processes • Experience in line design and methods planning (layout, workstations, cycle times), DFM/DFA, lean methods, FMEA, control plans, and structured problem solving • High level of personal responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset, with an analytically structured way of working, resilience, and confidence in collaborating with various stakeholders up to management level • Confident handling of technical drawings and common digital tools (e.g. CAD viewers, layout tools, MS Project, Excel) • Business-fluent English skills; German is an advantage What we offer • Flexible working hours and models as well as mobile office options for a good work-life balance • Personal development through development programs, training, or e-learning as well as professional mobility within the international Groupe SEB • Generous employee discounts in the WMF online store and corporate benefits • Excellent company restaurant with employee subsidy and a wide and varied range of food, kiosk, and food to go for your physical well-being • Attractive salary package with Christmas and vacation bonuses and company pension scheme • Health offers such as job bike leasing or advice for your health • Which goes without saying for us: 30 days annual leave, a variety of employee events, free parking, and coffee & tea specialties Further information on our employee benefits can be found here: Working at WMF - Insight into the corporate culture at WMF (aboutwmf.com)
