Oracle Functional Consultant

Role summary This consultant drives go-live readiness and user adoption. The role owns the rollout plan, role-based training, user documentation and hypercare. It also covers day-to-day functional administration so that the client's users actually use the system after go-live. Key responsibilities • Plan and run the rollout: cutover plan, go-live checklist, phased deployment by department or programme • Run a training needs analysis and build a role-based curriculum (executives, project managers, cost controllers, contract administrators, approvers, administrators) • Deliver classroom, hands-on and virtual training in Arabic and English, including train-the-trainer sessions for client super users • Produce bilingual training materials: user manuals, quick reference guides, process job aids and short video walkthroughs • Configure and maintain the training environment and the training data sets • Support UAT execution alongside the BA and log, triage and follow up defects • Provide go-live and hypercare support: floor walking, a help-desk channel, issue logging and resolution tracking • Perform functional administration: user onboarding, role and permission updates, shell creation and routine data maintenance • Track adoption KPIs (logins, BP volumes, cycle times, overdue items) and report them to the client and QPM • Gather user feedback and feed enhancement requests into the change management process Required qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business or a related field • 3+ years of hands-on Unifier experience, including at least one go-live with end-user training • Strong functional knowledge of Unifier BPs, shells, cost management and the user and admin modes • Proven experience designing and delivering training to large and varied user groups • Excellent presentation and communication skills in Arabic and English Preferred • Prior experience on construction and infrastructure projects, with a working understanding of how project managers, cost controllers, contract administrators and site teams operate, so that training reflects real day-to-day scenarios (RFIs, submittals, variations, progress payments, daily reports) • Oracle Primavera Unifier certification • Certified trainer credential (CTT+, or an equivalent instructional design certificate) • Change management certification (Prosci or similar) • Experience on government projects in Qatar or the GCC • Exposure to Primavera P6
