Sales Manager 3D Printing (m/w/d)

Tasks • Drive the sales of industrial 3D printing solutions across France and French-speaking Switzerland and develop the additive manufacturing business together with the local Hoffmann Group field sales teams. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with industrial companies and key decision-makers throughout both markets. • Identify new industrial applications for additive manufacturing and support customers in implementing suitable 3D printing solutions. • Manage customer inquiries and commercial projects from initial request and quotation through negotiation and successful contract closure. • Provide consultative technical sales support together with our engineering team, advising customers on manufacturing processes, materials, and economically optimized solutions. • Actively develop new business opportunities, expand our customer base, and establish Hoffmann Additive Manufacturing AG as a trusted partner for industrial additive manufacturing in France and French-speaking Switzerland. • Contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalization of our quotation and ordering platform by bringing in your customer and sales perspective. • Represent Hoffmann Additive Manufacturing AG during customer visits, contract negotiations, trade fairs, and industry events in France, Switzerland, and across Europe. Requirements • Completed technical education or apprenticeship combined with professional sales experience, or a commercial background with strong technical expertise and proven experience in additive manufacturing. • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or project business, with a proven background in the additive manufacturing (3D printing) industry. • Professional experience in the 3D printing industry is essential, ideally gained in the sale of industrial 3D printing equipment (hardware manufacturers, OEMs, or resellers) or within a 3D printing service provider offering additive manufacturing solutions to industrial customers. • Solid understanding of additive manufacturing technologies, materials, and applications, with the ability to identify customer needs and advise on suitable 3D printing solutions. • Ability to work independently, take ownership of commercial targets, and successfully drive opportunities from lead generation to closing. • High affinity for digitalization, platform solutions, and data-driven sales approaches. • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within France, Switzerland, and Europe, depending on customer projects and trade fairs. • Fluent French and fluent English, both written and spoken, are essential. • German language skills are considered a strong advantage. • Proficiency in any additional European language is considered a plus. • Team-oriented, confident, and professional personality with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude when interacting with decision-makers.
