Social Media Executive - Internship

Department: Marketing & Digital Media Reports To: Social Media Executive Location: Doha, Qatar Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time) Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension) Job Summary We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Executive Intern to join the marketing team at Digimax. The intern will assist the Social Media Executive across all day-to-day duties, from planning and creating content to supporting campaigns, client accounts and performance reporting. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media and digital marketing, eager to learn, and ready to contribute fresh ideas while gaining real agency experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Social Media Management ▪     Assist in managing and maintaining social media accounts for Digimax and its clients, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube ▪     Help plan, schedule and publish content across platforms using scheduling tools ▪     Monitor comments, messages and inquiries, and help respond in a timely and professional manner ▪     Support the team in keeping brand identity and tone of voice consistent across all platforms 2. Content Creation & Planning ▪     Contribute creative ideas for posts, reels, stories and promotional campaigns ▪     Assist in preparing monthly social media content calendars ▪     Write draft captions, promotional messages and relevant hashtags for review ▪     Support photo and video shoots and coordinate with designers, photographers and videographers on content needs ▪     Research and share the latest social media trends, viral formats and audio 3. Digital Marketing & Advertising ▪     Assist the team in setting up and monitoring paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok and Google ▪     Help track campaign results and note what is working and what can be improved ▪     Support influencer and content creator outreach and coordination 4. Client Account Support ▪     Assist in handling social media activities for multiple clients ▪     Help prepare content for client approval and track feedback and revisions ▪     Support timely delivery of content and marketing activities in line with client deadlines 5. Analytics & Reporting ▪     Help collect data on reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth and conversions ▪     Assist in preparing monthly social media performance reports ▪     Track competitor activity and share observations with the team Qualifications & Requirements ▪     Recent graduate (within the last year) in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media or a related field ▪     No prior work experience required; previous internships, freelance work or managing personal / university pages is a plus ▪     Active social media user with a strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat and YouTube ▪     Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage ▪     Familiarity with Meta Business Suite or scheduling tools is an advantage ▪     Interest in the Qatar market and local social media trends ▪     Based in Doha, Qatar and available to start immediately Key Competencies ▪     Creativity and a willingness to share ideas ▪     Eagerness to learn and take on feedback ▪     Proactiveness and initiative ▪     Attention to detail ▪     Good organizational and time management skills ▪     Team player who can also work independently What You Will Gain ▪     Hands-on experience managing real social media accounts for brands across different industries ▪     Exposure to content planning, paid advertising, influencer marketing and performance reporting ▪     Mentorship and day-to-day guidance from Digimax's social media and creative team ▪     A portfolio of published work to support your future career in digital marketing ▪     Internship completion certificate, with the opportunity to be considered for a full-time role based on performance
