Strategic Buyer, Mechanical Components (m/f/d) | Bavaria, Germany (near Frankfurt) I’m working with a global technology leader in ophthalmic lasers for refractive and corneal surgery. They have 200+ employees and sell in more than 100 countries 🌍 The role • Report directly to the Head of Procurement • Own category strategy for mechanical components • Lead cost-saving and VA/VE projects • Select, qualify and develop strategic suppliers to MDR and ISO 13485 • Run tenders and contract negotiations, and get suppliers involved early in R&D projects What you’ll need • A degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or medical technology • Several years in strategic purchasing of mechanical components • Strong knowledge of EU MDR and ISO 13485 • A track record of delivering cost savings • Business-fluent German and English Benefits: flexible hours, 30 days’ holiday, company pension, bike leasing, nursery subsidy, training budget and a strong long-term career path 📈 📩 Interested, or know someone who’d be a great fit?
