Sunfreak wanted: Marketing, E-commerce & Commercial Intern

We’re looking for a Sunfreak. 😎☀️ Sunscreen is boring. Clinical. Beige. Forgotten in a beach bag until July. We refuse. Sunfreaks is a biotech suncare startup using DNA-repair technology, for all skin tones, inclusive from day one, and with zero interest in playing it safe. Serious science, unapologetic cool, and a soul the category never had. The formula is ready. Production is planned. Spring 2027, we launch. Now we need our first Sunfreak on the team: a Marketing, E-commerce & Commercial Intern to help build the launch with us, from zero. What you’ll drive: → Go-to-market: Help plan and execute our DTC launch in 2027. → E-commerce: Building the Shopify store experience and conversion funnel → Creators & community: Find relevant creators, reach out, build partnerships and turn ideas into activations. → Audience & CRM: Grow our waitlist, manage contacts and prepare email campaigns that turn early interest into launch momentum. You’re a Sunfreak if: you study marketing, e-commerce or business · you’re obsessed with beauty and skincare · you’ve already built something (your own Instagram, a side hustle, an online shop) · you understand the social media and online sales madness (TikTok, Instagram and whatever comes next) · and you don’t wait for permission to have ideas — or make them happen. You like to work accurately. You are super curious and proactive. 📼💾You have a soft spot for retro aesthetics. More Miami Vice, Sunset Strip and Glam 80s/90s vibes, less future dystopian Blade Runner. You’re not a Sunfreak if: you need a 40-page onboarding manual, you are afraid of proposing new ideas or thinking out of the box, and you need a fruit basket. 🍎 👀IMPORTANT NOTICE: We will have tons of fun, but don't get us wrong: As in every early -stage Startup this is a highly hands-on opportunity; it requires high agency and initiative, a very good eye for detail, tons of creativity and curiosity, an ability to communicate clearly your ideas and a high sense of responsibility. We will be learning by doing fast, and we expect you to mess things up together with us! The deal: real ownership from day one · working directly with the founder on strategy and execution · fully remote ( if you prefer it) · 3–6 months · a compulsory university internship (Pflichtpraktikum) is preferred. What we promise you: We’re building Sunfreaks from the ground up, and honestly? We’re figuring out a lot as we go. Things will get messy. Plans will change. One of us will probably say, “Wait, what if we tried this?” five minutes before lunch. Chaos? From time to time. Stress? Occasionally. Problems to solve? Every. Single. Day. We’ll solve problems we didn’t know existed, build things that didn’t exist yesterday, and get our hands dirty with pretty much everything. We’ll test ideas, make mistakes, fix them, and figure things out together. A perfectly organised, hierarchical corporate life? Wrong company, babe. Boring?
