UNIT CLERK Responsibilities • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and appointment schedules. • Maintain and update patient records, forms, and unit documentation. • Route calls, messages, test results, and requests to the appropriate clinical staff. • Support daily unit operations, including data entry, filing, and coordination with other departments. Requirements Requirements • High school diploma; a Certificate or Diploma in Healthcare Administration is preferred. • Minimum 1–2 years of clerical experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient record procedures. • Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health record systems. • Strong organization, communication, confidentiality, and multitasking skills.
