Work Inspector -Structure

Job Description As a Work Inspector, you will play a vital role in supporting Ashghal infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect structural construction works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. You will work closely with the project team to maintain the highest standards of construction quality and safety. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough inspections of structural construction works, including foundations, columns, beams, and other structural elements. • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and Ashghal requirements. • Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities during the construction process. • Provide timely feedback and recommendations to the project team to address any issues. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities. • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related queries. • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality. • Ensure health and safety standards are met during construction activities. • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans. • Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices in structural construction. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 15 years of experience in structural inspection or construction supervision. • Strong knowledge of structural design principles and construction practices. • Excellent understanding of Ashghal requirements and quality standards. • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. • Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Valid driving license and ability to travel within Qatar as required.
