Electrical Engineer PCB and ATE

About the role Start by learning PCB specification and technical support for semiconductor test hardware. As you gain experience, help automate recurring tasks and progressively develop your skills in electrical design for automated test equipment (ATE). What you’ll do - Learn to specify multilayer PCBs and adapt electrical requirements and existing circuits to customer needs. - Support sales and Product Engineers with technical inquiries, feasibility checks and product selection. - Help investigate PCB quality issues and coordinate technical requirements with customers, designers and suppliers. - Identify opportunities to improve workflows and develop scripts, templates or small automation tools. - Gradually contribute to ATE interface design, including schematics, component selection, pin assignments, PCB layout requirements and electrical testing. Your design responsibilities will grow with your skills and project needs. What you bring - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics or a related field. Recent graduates and early-career engineers are welcome. - Good fundamentals in analog and digital electronics, with an interest in circuit design and PCB technology. - An interest in automation; initial programming skills, such as Python, are an advantage. - Basic familiarity with PCB design tools or laboratory measurements is helpful. Previous ATE experience is welcome but not required. - A structured, analytical approach, curiosity, initiative and clear communication skills. - Fluent English; German is an advantage.
