About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Expert YouTube Editor to join our YouTube team. This role is designed for a top-tier video editor who is fluent in French and has professional working proficiency in English, with strong experience editing high-production, long-form YouTube content. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into dynamic, engaging, and high-retention videos ranging from 15 to 30 minutes, working closely with our Lead YouTube Editor. The ideal candidate has a strong command of pacing, storytelling, visual effects, motion graphics, and audio post-production, and is comfortable working on content related to pop culture, history, geography, gaming, and society.About You - Fluent in French — mandatory - Professional working proficiency in English - Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro - Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects - Experience with Adobe Podcast and/or Adobe Audition - Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention - Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, maps, animations, and visual callouts - Passion for long-form YouTube content and complex creative projects - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high production standards - Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working as part of a creative team - Knowledge of 3D animation software is a strong plusMain Responsibilities - Edit and polish 15–30 minute long-form YouTube videos - Build strong narratives while maintaining pacing and viewer retention - Create custom motion graphics, lower thirds, visual effects, and graphic packages - Produce map, historical, and other explanatory animations - Clean and enhance voiceovers and dialogue - Design soundscapes and balance music for emotional impact - Work primarily on French-language content, with occasional English projects - Collaborate with the Lead YouTube Editor throughout the post-production process - Deliver polished, high-quality vid
