Group Bookkeeper / Finance Coordinator (Remote — Tunisia) 🇹🇳

📋 About the role We're looking for a Group Bookkeeper to take ownership of day-to-day financial record-keeping for Numan and, over time, for other brands within the wider group. This is not a static bookkeeping position. It's an opportunity to build the finance function from the ground up alongside the founder, with a clear path toward a senior finance leadership role as the group scales. You'll work remotely from Tunisia, reporting directly to the founder, supporting UK-based clients, landlords and tenants. 🧾 What you'll be doing - Verifying and reconciling client, tenant and landlord accounts - Processing supplier invoices, expenses and payments - Performing regular bank reconciliations - Managing accounts payable and receivable - Keeping the books organised, accurate and audit-ready across Numan and, in time, other group brands - Supporting VAT preparation and liaising with external accountants where needed - Flagging discrepancies, late payments and cash flow issues before they become problems - ✅ What we're looking for - Strong written and spoken English — you'll be communicating directly with London-based clients - Working knowledge of Xero or a similar cloud accounting platform - A solid grasp of bookkeeping fundamentals and UK VAT basics - 🔍 Genuine attention to detail — this role works with numbers constantly, and small errors compound quickly across multiple sets of accounts - 🎯 Consistent accuracy, even when moving through high volumes of transactions - Comfortable working independently and managing your own priorities in a remote, async setup - Studying towards (or open to starting) an AAT qualification - 🚀 Who this suits Someone early in their finance career with real ambition — the kind of person who wants to build toward a CFO role, not just process transactions.
