Mission of the Role: At the Hiroshima factory, which manufactures automotive electronic parts (center displays, speedometers, etc.) - Process design/method development/introduction of production equipment - Launch of mass production process - Improving productivity after startup Key Objectives of this Role: - Process design/method development/introduction of production equipment - Consideration of process/construction method based on design input - Creation of P-FMEA, Control Plan - Production equipment concept planning and specification creation - Negotiations with equipment manufacturers, ordering, and delivery date management - Collaboration with technology center (India/Portugal) - Launch of mass production process - Try production using new equipment - Creating work instructions and providing training to manufacturing departments - Improving productivity after startup - Analysis of mass production quality issues - Production efficiency monitoring and analysis - Development of investment plan for improvement - Implementation of improvements involving equipment manufacturers/technical centers, etc. Key Performance Indicators: - OEE(overall equipment effectiveness) - Tact time - Scrap rate Key Year One Deliverables: - Equipment for mass production - PMFEA/Control Plan/Work Instruction Qualification, Experience and Skills: Required - Experience preparing for m
