Product Owner

About the role We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Scrum team working on a customer-facing application. You will act as the link between customers, business stakeholders and the delivery team, making sure customer needs are clearly understood and translated into valuable, deliverable product features. You will own and prioritize the product backlog, work closely with developers and testers throughout the delivery process, and ensure the team focuses on building the right features in the right order. Key responsibilities - Gather, understand and challenge customer and business requirements - Translate business and customer needs into clear user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria - Own, maintain and prioritize the product backlog in Jira - Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives - Work closely with developers and testers on a day-to-day basis, clarify requirements, answer questions and help remove blockers - Validate delivered features and ensure they meet the agreed requirements and customer expectations - Collaborate with customers and business stakeholders to clarify priorities and manage expectations - Keep product documentation up to date in Confluence, including specifications, processes and release notes - Communicate progress, priorities, risks and dependencies to relevant stakeholders - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product and the team's way of working Profile - 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role within an Agile/Scrum environment - Strong customer focus, with the ability to listen, ask the right questions and understand user needs - Strong ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements - Comfortable working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence - Clear, structured and confident communication skills - Working proficiency in Engl
