Project Manager - Transmission Line

About ICC International Consolidated Contractors (ICC) is an engineering and construction company delivering major EPC and infrastructure projects across the Middle East and Africa. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager – Transmission Lines to lead and oversee the successful execution of transmission line projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality standards, budget, and schedule. Key Responsibilities • Lead the overall execution and delivery of transmission line projects from mobilization through completion and handover. • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and contractual requirements. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. • Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. • Ensure project execution complies with approved specifications, HSE requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations. • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks, and cost impacts, implementing corrective actions when required. • Manage project teams and ensure effective coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and support functions. • Review and monitor subcontractor and supplier performance. • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, progress measurement, and project controls. • Manage variations, claims, contractual matters, and commercial issues in coordination with the relevant departments. • Conduct regular project meetings and provide management with accurate progress and performance updates. • Ensure successful project completion within the approved time, cost, quality, and safety parameters. • Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. • 10+ years of experience in project management within the power transmission, electrical infrastructure, EPC, or construction industry. • Proven experience managing Transmission Line projects, preferably high-voltage projects. • Strong knowledge of transmission line construction, including foundations, towers, stringing, installation, testing, and commissioning. • Strong project planning, scheduling, cost control, and contract management skills. • Experience working with international clients, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams. • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects under demanding schedules. • Willingness to travel or work on project sites as required. Qualifications Experience with HV/EHV transmission line projects. Experience with international EPC contractors and large-scale infrastructure projects. PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage. Experience in the Middle East and/or Africa is highly preferred.
