Senior Planning Engineer

🚀 We're Hiring: Senior Planning Engineer – EPCC Projects (Oil & Gas / Energy) We deliver EPCC projects across the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors, and we're looking for a Senior Planner to take ownership of planning and project controls across multiple projects running in parallel. What you'll do 🔹 Develop and maintain detailed Level 4 schedules in Primavera P6 for multiple EPCC projects 🔹 Prepare 3-week / 6-week lookaheads and drive progress tracking with site teams 🔹 Set up and run the Earned Value Management system on each project: weighted WBS across Engineering, Procurement and Construction, progress measurement rules and credit steps by deliverable type 🔹 Track PV, EV and AC, analyse SPI/CPI trends and S-curves, and produce reliable forecasts (EAC, ETC) 🔹 Cross-check EVM results with critical path and float analysis to identify real schedule risks early 🔹 Prepare Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) and present them to senior management and clients 🔹 Define scope, milestones and KPIs with project managers and engineering leads 🔹 Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, PCC and HSE inputs into one coherent plan 🔹 Run schedule risk assessments and propose mitigation and recovery plans 🔹 Assess resource needs and adjust allocations to protect key milestones   What we're looking for ✅ 10+ years in planning and scheduling, with solid experience on EPC projects in Oil & Gas or Energy ✅ Advanced Primavera P6 skills (Level 4 schedules, baselines, resource loading) ✅ Hands-on Earned Value Management expertise: building progress measurement systems, analysing SPI/CPI trends and turning variances into recovery plans ✅ Strong understanding of Project Controls & Cost (PCC) and cost/schedule integration ✅ Proven experience producing lookaheads, MPRs and client-facing progress reports ✅ Experience supervising planners and working on site ✅ Fluent English; Arabic and/or French is a strong plus ✅ Availability to travel to project sites   If you match these requirements, we’d love to hear from you.
