Data Science & Analytics Intern

Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Data Science & Analytics Intern to support the development of data-driven solutions for financial services applications. The role involves data analysis, Python-based automation, dashboard development, and integration of Machine Learning (ML) models to generate actionable business insights and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and process structured and unstructured data to identify trends and insights. • Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and analysis. • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and workflows. • Support the integration of ML models into business applications and analytical workflows. • Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor key metrics and system performance. • Work with databases and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data. • Support real-time data monitoring and reporting requirements. • Assist with data validation, testing, documentation, and process optimization. • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Required Technical Skills • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python for data analysis and processing. • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts. • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms. • Understanding of basic statistical concepts and data interpretation. • Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and model integration. • Basic understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and ETL processes. Desired Skills • Exposure to libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar. • Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly. • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. • Exposure to real-time data, time-series analysis, or streaming technologies such as Kafka. • Interest in financial services, FinTech, automation, or regulatory technology. • Academic projects or internship experience involving data science, analytics, or ML.
