The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in elevator fault diagnosis, controller troubleshooting, breakdown handling, and resolving complex technical issues across multiple elevator brands. Role Description The Elevator Troubleshooting Expert is a full-time, on-site role based at Sandfield Cosmetics’ facility in Dubai. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining elevator systems to ensure safe and reliable operation across the site. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, identifying mechanical, electrical, or control system issues, and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner. The expert will respond to breakdowns, conduct preventive maintenance, document all service activities, and coordinate with facility management and external vendors when required. The role also involves monitoring compliance with safety standards, advising on upgrades and improvements, and training colleagues on proper elevator use and basic safety procedures. Qualifications • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for elevator mechanical, electrical, and control systems. • Hands-on experience with elevator maintenance, repair, preventive servicing, and safety checks. • Knowledge of relevant safety codes, regulations, and industry standards for vertical transportation systems. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation. • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with facility teams, vendors, and service providers. • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Relevant technical qualification or certification in elevator technology, electrical engineering, or a related field. • Previous experience in elevator service or building facilities maintenance; experience in industrial or commercial settings is an advantage. • Commitment to workplace safety, willingness to follow company procedures, and readiness to work on-site in Dubai.
