Description de l'offre d'emploi

Samar's Secrets recrute : Exhibition Intern — Wardrobe Fashion Week, à Dubai, Émirats arabes unis (Stage).

Company Samar’s Secrets Workplace type On-site Job location Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job type Internship Description About Samar’s Secrets Samar’s Secrets is a couture and luxury ready-to-wear house founded by Lebanese designer Samar Dabboussi. Born in Lebanon, developed in the GCC, the House makes kaftans, jalabiyas, capes, bishts and Henna pieces by hand: embroidery, beadwork, zari and hand-threaded braid on fluid silhouettes. About the role On 5 November 2026 the House walks the runway at Wardrobe Fashion Week. From 5 to 8 November it keeps a rail at the exhibition, A1 Venue, Alserkal Avenue, open 5:30 to 11:00 pm each evening. We are looking for two more interns to spend those evenings with us, alongside an intern already confirmed. You report to Sally Yamak, who leads the House’s digital, brand and e-commerce development and runs the rail during the week. Each intern takes one track as their own and helps on the others when the room is busy: • Backstage & dressing — steam and line up the looks, dress the models, keep every brooch and tassel where Samar placed it, return pieces to the rail after the show. • On the floor — welcome visitors, help a woman try a piece, tell the story of the embroidery, note what she loved and her contact if she gives it. • Content & archive — capture fittings, the rail and the quiet moments before the show on a phone, for the House’s channels and records. • Inventory & orders — keep the inventory sheet true (sizes, prices, sold pieces, who bought what) and follow each order through to delivery. Schedule — about 16 hours in all • Tuesday 4 November: 2 hours, set-up and briefing. • Wednesday 5 November, show day: 5:30–11:00 pm. • Thursday 6 – Saturday 8 November: one 3-hour shift per evening (5:30–8:30 or 8:00–11:00); two interns per evening, each with one evening off. • Each evening starts with a 10-minute brief and ends with a 10-minute hand-over. Extra hours are welcome and never required. Who we are looking for Studying fashion, design, styling, communication or hospitality, or finished in the last two years. In or near Dubai and free from 4 to 8 November. No CV or prior internship needed. What matters: you notice how things are made and handle them with care; you are at ease with people and can talk about a piece without pushing a sale; you keep a sheet accurate when the room is busy. Arabic and English are both welcome; one is enough. The House welcomes applications from everyone; tell us about any access needs and we will arrange them. What we offer • Unpaid work experience in short, defined shifts; nothing beyond them is expected. • AED 140 for every day you attend (AED 75 towards transport, AED 65 for dinner), paid in cash or by transfer at the end of each evening. No receipts, no invoicing. • A 30-minute dinner break in Alserkal each evening, taken in turns. • A mentor: Sally Yamak briefs you at the start of each shift and hands over at the end. • Backstage at a runway show, a working inventory and order process, and the craft vocabulary of the House. • A reference letter within two weeks, and a named credit on content you capture that we publish. • Interns who do well are first in line for the next show and for paid freelance work with the House.
