MEDICAL BILLER Responsibilities • Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and pre-authorization requirements. • Prepare and submit accurate claims in line with hospital and payer procedures. • Track claim status, investigate rejections, and support resubmissions and appeals. • Maintain billing records and coordinate with patients, insurers, and hospital departments to resolve billing queries. Requirements Requirements • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in a hospital. • Knowledge of insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and payer requirements. • Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital billing or EHR systems. • Strong attention to detail, communication, and follow-up skills.
