English Second Language Teacher

Role Description The ESL Teacher at BERLITZ TUNISIA will deliver engaging, learner-centered English lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. This is a part-time, on-site role based in La Marsa, involving preparation and delivery of lessons aligned with Berlitz methodologies and learning objectives. Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing learner progress, providing regular feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and achievement. You will create a supportive classroom environment, adapt teaching materials to learner needs, and collaborate with colleagues and coordinators to ensure consistent quality of instruction. Additional duties may include participating in training sessions, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting exam preparation classes such as IELTS when needed. Qualifications - Proficiency in English at a native or near-native level - Master's degree in English Literature, Civilisation or Linguistics / Business English - TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent certification - 2-5 years of experience in teaching or corporate training - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Passion for language learning and cross-cultural communication - Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if needed
