Head of Platform Engineering – Tunis

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Platform Engineering to lead our platform development and help shape the future of our technology landscape. You will be responsible for building and scaling high-performing engineering teams, driving the development of cloud-native platform capabilities, and championing the use of AI-powered engineering practices to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Hands-on AI engineering first: build a web-based version of our decision modeling tool, largely on your own with AI coding agents. - Drive hands-on software engineering activities, setting best practices, and establishing modern AI-native development methodologies. - Build, manage, and mentor distributed Platform Engineering teams across Tunisia and Germany, and grow a Platform Development Delivery Center in Tunis. - Oversee the development, using Java, cloud-ready services on our Decision Management Platform. - Ensure software stability, cloud operability and security built throughout the entire development lifecycle. - Establish modern, AI-native engineering processes that go beyond classic Scrum ceremonies.
