Internship Offer: Accounting / Finance

About MONSAPO and SapoCircle MONSAPO is a Tunisian cleantech startup, Techstars-backed, applying circular economy principles to the detergent industry. We convert used cooking oil into professional-grade detergents for the HORECA sector (hotels, restaurants, catering). Our core technology, SapoCircle, is a fully automated, IoT-connected machine that transforms a hotel's used cooking oil into professional cleaning products directly on-site. It combines proprietary hardware, consumable capsules and a SaaS dashboard tracking production, savings and environmental impact. We are now moving from pilot to commercial deployment in Tunisia, with a planned expansion to France. To support this growth phase, we are looking for an Accounting or Finance intern for a 3-month internship starting in November 2026. Your main responsibilities • General accounting: record and track day-to-day financial operations and support monthly closing with our external accountant. • Cash flow management: update and maintain the company cash flow file, track inflows and outflows, and help build short-term cash forecasts. • Receipts and payments: record customer payments, supplier invoices and expenses, and follow up on outstanding items. • Bank reconciliation: review bank statements regularly and perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data. • Reporting: contribute to financial reports and dashboards shared with management and investors. • Collaboration: work closely with our finance lead and our chartered accountant to ensure rigorous and accurate bookkeeping. Profile • Student in accounting, finance, management or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's level, final-year or gap-year internship welcome). • Solid understanding of accounting principles and strong Excel skills; familiarity with accounting software is a plus. • Organized, rigorous, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team. • A first experience in accounting or finance (internship or project) is a plus. • French and English required.
