Owner

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Owner role based at Atelier Laz Art in Tunis, Tunisia. The Owner oversees daily studio operations, including planning the work schedule, coordinating ongoing art and design projects, and managing the customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery. Responsibilities include supervising staff or collaborators, maintaining inventory of materials and supplies, and ensuring a clean, safe, and inspiring workspace. The Owner manages finances such as budgeting, pricing, and basic accounting, while also handling vendor relationships and contract negotiations. In addition, the Owner leads brand development, promotes Atelier Laz Art through local networking and marketing activities, and drives strategic decisions to grow the business. Qualifications - Ability to manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and studio organization. - Strong financial and business management capabilities, such as budgeting, cost control, and basic accounting. - Experience in client relations, with skills in communication, negotiation, and customer service. - Background or interest in art, design, or creative industries, with an eye for quality and detail. - Proficiency in local market networking, sales, and basic marketing to promote studio services. - Leadership skills to guide collaborators, manage performance, and foster an inclusive, respectful workplace. - Ability to work on-site full time in Tunis, Tunisia, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. - Previous experience owning or managing a small business, studio, gallery, or similar environment is highly beneficial.
